This site is owned and operated by Chrissy Ferguson. By purchasing from EAT. you hereby agree to all below terms and conditions.
Payment
Your order is confirmed once we have received your non-refundable deposit. The outstanding balance is due the week prior to collection.
Pick Up
Your order will be ready to be collected from our home at 65 Marne St, Hokowhitu, Palmerston North at the pre-arranged time. Please make sure you are on time. EAT. takes no responsibility for any orders which need to be left outside to collect due to late collection. All orders must be paid in full prior to pick up.
Deliveries
If you need your order delivered, please make sure you include this on your contact form when placing your order. This is not always possible, but we do our best to be accommodating wherever possible — a delivery fee will apply. If the wrong address is given there will be no refund or re-delivery. Refunds & Cancellations
All deposits are non-refundable. If an order is cancelled close to the date required, where the full payment has been made, no refund will be given. Special exceptions may apply in cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, which will be considered on a case by case basis. In the unfortunate situation where we need to cancel an order due to circumstances out of our control, e.g., illness/pandemic etc., all money paid will be refunded.
Dietary Requirements and Allergies
Although all care is taken when preparing our food, please be aware that our products are produced in our registered kitchen that contains most major allergens. For this reason, we are unable to guarantee our products do not include these ingredients.
Transporting Orders
Once your order has been picked up, it is the responsibility of the customer to transport it safely. EAT. do not give refunds once it has left our premises and been handed over to the customer. It is their responsibility to exercise extreme care during transportation. We would always advise on the best way to transport the order when asked. Once an order leaves our premises it is deemed fulfilled and we are no longer liable for any damage that occurs outside of our premises. This applies to all orders picked up and those sent by courier. Orders which are shipped or dropped at the couriers are done at the customers risk — overnight/next day delivery is a guide only. We are not responsible for any late, missing or damaged orders. Please allow plenty of time when booking.
Food Handling
When products are received, please keep chilled and consume the same day. It is the responsibility of the customer to dispose of the food if kept unrefrigerated beyond 4 hours to comply with food regulations. By agreeing to our terms and conditions the customer agrees to dispose of any food after that time frame. Any food consumed after this time will not be the responsibility of EAT. should any adverse reactions occur.
Gift Vouchers
EAT. will hold gift voucher credit for a maximum of one year from date of issue. After this time the voucher is invalid.
Social Media
Unless our customers explicitly ask us not to use images taken at their event, we reserve the right to use them on our social media platforms.
